Offering true Powered USB (USB PlusPower) versatility, this low profile 2 port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card acts as the daughter board component to StarTech.com's 3 Port PCI 12V Powered USB Card (PCI312PUSB), expanding the number of Powered USB ports provided for a total of five Powered USB ports.
Alternatively, the adapter card does not require a direct connection to the motherboard PCI local bus, letting you install the card as a standalone 2 port Powered USB card.
The adapter card features a low profile design that's suitable for installation in a small form factor/micro form factor computer - allowing you to add one 12V and one 24V keyed Powered USB connector to virtually any computer, regardless of the case form factor.
